I really appreciate and feel inspired by this proposal - it resonates deeply with how I see journalism as a tool for civic engagement.

At the same time, I wonder how we can address the challenge of sustainability, especially for local newsrooms that are already under pressure.

In Italy, for example, we have some public support, but it’s not enough - and articles that generate clicks often remain essential to keep things running.

I’d love to see this conversation continue, especially around how to make these powerful ideas sustainable in practice.
